Fists clenched, the fire in her chest rose higher, flames ready to burst through her.

Quick Pitch:
Amnesia curses our FMC to live a simple life as a barmaid. Until her pre-sea wreck-ed days start coming back to her.
And all would go well until she turns a bounty hunter into a chicken. Whoops! Those unknown Druid powers probably need to get clamped down as she finds her way back home to uncover her past.
Three problems though-
A serious lack of decent funds.,
The shipwrecked trauma is real and she refuses to get on a boat so her journey home will take much longer.,
The leader of the team she’s hired to get her partially there is equally handsome as he is frustrating. ,
Overall Thoughts:
Hooray, to the multiple POV’s! I loved we get to hear from the MMC.
Also, I will never exhaust for a rag tag crew where the odds are against them.
But I would say there is already a high bar around these book tropes.
Overall, I was yearning for some deeper prose. Also, I think there was some missed opportunities to understand what druids could or couldn’t do in this world.
When it comes to fantasy escapism, it grates my nerves when FMC asks the MMC, “Now, what?”

Though there was some interesting bits in this, I would recommend if you prefer dialogue heavy (romantasy?) fantasy.
