The final threads of The Connections series are soon going to be tied up, so it’s time to finally reveal the cover of book 3, The Lineman. And you better bet my chaos queers Kit & Hen are getting their time to shine for the last time on this cover!
If you aren’t familiar with this delightful series yet, here’s the vibe: adult urban fantasy with the BEST slooooow-burn queer yearning and some of the most unique world building I’ve ever seen. Also, big Good Omens vibes (TV show), but even more magical and more queer, we love to see it. Check out my review of book 1, The Switchboard, to learn why I enjoy this series so much!

The Lineman, book 3 in the Connections trilogy
I mean, I told you Kit & Hen were gonna SHINEEE! Ugh, I love them so much, and it’s so exciting to see them back together again on this cover after the separation on the cover of The Mage-Killer!
All the credit for this breathtaking art belongs to the incredible Plus+Time, who captured the vibe and spirit of this story and these characters just perfectly!
Now, regardless of whether you’ve read the first two instalments in The Connections trilogy, I highly recommend you just PRE-ORDER The Lineman right now so you can binge the trilogy in one go when this finale drops on June 9th 2025. I am ready for you all to join me on the hype train, cheers!
