What a wild and strange story. It is a combination of weird wig magic, witchcraft, and technology. Yes, I said wig magic.

Rain, the wig maker and central protagonist of the story, discovers that the wigs of her creation give the wearers powers. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Rain attempts to save her country and her people.

I think. This story is so off the wall that it was a little bit difficult to follow. But the bones are good, and it is an interesting take. Okorofor creates exciting worlds, and I would love to see her flesh this out more. I mean, wigs with power and a story that blends science, witchcraft, and technology. So cool!
